Manual Update (by Extracting the Update file on to the existing version of the game) seems to be not working/causing issues for some People (from 2.4.0) due to the changes in the way certain files are updated. If You are Manually Updating (not recommended since 2.4), don't do it before the Update is Live (August 24 2022, 06:00 UTC+8). The following links can be used to download the files and it is RECOMMENDED to use the Launcher to do the Update/Installation. Even though every community has a loud, toxic minority I've barely felt it in this one, and I hope it stays that way.ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP OF THE CURRENT GAME FILES AND THE UPDATE FILES BEFORE DOING ANYTHING. Not just miHoYo/HoYoverse for creating an incredible game that I've enjoyed every single day since its release, but also the community, for creating incredible fan art, incredible ' fan art', guides, memes, and whatnot.
So to end this weird post about my personal achievement, I wanted to thank you all. I've decided that even in content droughts and "Hard Times" of the game I'm gonna still log in every day because I already have that streak so why break it? Through this whole journey, I had some temptation to whale but I decided to keep my dignity as a F2P player not really because of anything special but most importantly because of the title and special role it gives you.
It's no longer like that, I am the only one who stuck around so far, with some of my friends coming back at times (At the moment it's the Diluc guy mentioned above). I remember carrying our local Razor main through his weekly Boreas, going around the map looking for crystal chucks with my high AR friends, theory-crafting, and creating tier lists together back when everyone was around. Even though I rarely use her today, she is very important to me because she was my first character to reach level 90 and friendship level 10. Shortly after I got the Skyward Spine which solidified Xiangling as my early game carry.
I was the last to get a five-star character, with my first one being Jean, which I got in the middle of my Computer Science Zoom class. It gave me some of my favorite memories with my friends, like how we hated one of our friends because he got Keqing from the Noelle banner, or all of us getting hyped up in a major pull for one of us who hard pitied a Diluc. All my friends and I played most of the first update together, with all of them dropping the game over time till the third one. I'm Shahar, and I've played Genshin Impact and loved it since release day. Well, I really don't know what to write here, but I wanted to share this achievement with someone, so I chose all of you guys!
